Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our advertising agency, with a background in managing brand, digital, and website projects. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating, planning, and executing various advertising and enrollment campaigns for our higher education clients. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery that exceeds client expectations.
About the Agency: Up&Up uplifts higher education to uplift people. We provide brand, enrollment marketing, and web services for our higher education clients to help them attract more of the right students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with clients, account managers, and creative teams to define project objectives, scope, and strategies for both advertising campaigns and website projects.
- Develop detailed project plans for brand, digital, enrollment and website development timelines, and budget estimates.
- Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans to mitigate project delays or challenges.
- Team Coordination and Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication, internally and externally, for both advertising campaigns and website projects.
- Foster collaboration among creative, design, copywriting, development, and other teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to project execution.
- Conduct regular status meetings for all projects, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any project-related concerns.
- Resource Management & Accountability:
- Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks for advertising campaigns and website projects are assigned appropriately and deadlines are met.
- Monitor individual workloads weekly and make necessary adjustments to maintain a balanced distribution of tasks and prevent burnout.
- Accountability – Collaborate with team members to ensure strict adherence to project deadlines and budgets, providing feedback and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Work with the department leads in identifying resource gaps and potential areas for skill development within the team.
- Budget Oversight:
- Develop and manage project budgets for advertising campaigns and website projects, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to client-approved budgets.
- Collaborate with the finance department to generate accurate billing and invoicing for clients, and track project financial performance.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Quality Assurance and Delivery:
- Implement quality control processes for both advertising campaigns and website projects to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and agency standards.
- Review creative materials, copy, and campaign assets to ensure accuracy, alignment with project goals, and brand consistency.
- Facilitate the delivery of completed website projects, ensuring all timelines have been communicated with the client appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Web Development, or related field.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in project management within the advertising industry, with a focus on website projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools. (ie. ClickUp)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with advertising creative processes, website development, and industry trends.
