Shely Landrum

Lover of a good book, dancing and Dolly

Providing sixth-woman-like support for the Up&Up team, Manager of Special Projects Shely Landrum ensures that anything that falls outside of our normal scope of work has a gameplan.

Shely brings a diverse range of previous work experience to her role at Up&Up. She was a biological researcher for Allergan, a global pharmaceutical company, and taught 5-8th grade math and science before returning to the home to raise four terrific teens.

At Up&Up, Shely manages the flow of office projects, supports agency operations–and she throws one heck of a Christmas party.

Outside of work you’ll most likely find her on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, taking on a home improvement project or brunching around the Upstate with her family.

Raise your kids so you enjoy being around them.

Q

What’s your favorite thing about Up&Up?

A

I love how everyone is trying to grow as a team

Q

What Up&Up value do you resonate with most (win for all, purposefully excellent, radically responsible, or make it happen)?

A

Radically responsible

Q

How do you bring Up&Up’s vision to uplift into your role as well as your personal life?

A

I’m always trying to help others by filling in the gap or taking care of things that they need so that they can better carry out their roles.

Q

How did you get into your current role?

A

I married the CEO. I only work one day a week in the office but I think I work seven days a week serving as Adam’s sounding board. I get to do a lot of the fun things.

Q

What brings you the most joy?

A

I love seeing the work that people do when we have the right person in the right seat. It’s so fun to see someone work in their zone of genius.

Q

What’s your superpower?

A

I think Kelly gave me my super power the other day and called me the clutch girl. When you need something done fast and well and finished completely… I’m your girl.
