Up&Up welcomes Saint Joseph’s College of Marian University – Indianapolis to the client family

At Marian University, they believe that every student deserves an opportunity to attain the education needed to make their dreams a reality. Unfortunately, despite the tremendous efforts of the state of Indiana’s K-12 educators, not every student graduates high school prepared to succeed at a four-year institution of higher education.

But Marian is committed to changing that. The Marian University Board of Trustees has approved the opening of Saint Joseph’s College of Marian University – Indianapolis—a new, innovative, and mission-driven two-year college that will provide the sense of community, support systems, and professional opportunities that many students need to succeed beyond high school.

As a result, Marian has continued their partnership with Up&Up to provide a brand and marketing strategy designed to establish the new Saint Joseph’s College of Marian University – Indianapolis brand to help increase awareness of the college and aid in student recruitment efforts.

“When Marian University’s board of trustees voted to open a new two-year college, several board members voiced concerns about the potential negative impact to the Marian University brand,” said Mark Apple, Marian University vice president for marketing communications. “We turned to Up&Up, which two years earlier had defined our brand, to help. Up&Up developed a strategy that will allow us to leverage the strengths of the Marian brand, while minimizing potential risk. We couldn’t be happier with the direction and look forward to launching our advertising campaign welcoming our first cohort this summer.”

With three majors to choose from, business, information technology, and liberal arts, the Saint Joe Indy programs are designed to be completed in a 24 month period. Students will be connected with local employer partners for job opportunities during their program to continue earning money and gaining career-applicable skills.

“Up&Up could not be more excited to continue our valued partnership with Marian in order to help raise awareness for a wonderful new school that is perfectly aligned with our mission of helping people to become their best versions,” said Beth Blume, Up&Up president. “We cannot wait to see the difference Saint Joe Indy will make in the lives of their students, communities, and beyond.”
