MEET THE TEAM

Director of Agency Operations

Hillary Kokajko

Unicorn of Higher Ed blending creative marketing with precise experiential design

Growing up as a military brat, Hillary has now moved 7 times in 4 states, and even lived in Okinawa, Japan. She settled in her first job post-graduate at High Point University and fell in love with Higher Education from Student Activities to Branding and Marketing. Now she joins us on the agency side of advertising and is excited to bring her knowledge of Higher Education from 1 institution to many institutions with Up&Up.

Overseeing a team at Up&Up to assist with operations of the agency, she is responsible for managing digital marketing, web development and project management.

In her free time, Hillary enjoys the outdoors and everything in between. From hiking, tent camping, skiing to running for exercise. She loves to be outdoors enjoying nature and all it has to offer with the chance to unwind and take her heels off.

Q

What’s your favorite thing about Up&Up?

A

The FIO mentality- Figure it Out. If we don’t have a process (and we have a lot of processes) The team is willing to get together and work through it for the best outcome possible.

Q

What Up&Up value do you resonate with most (win for all, purposefully excellent, radically responsible, or make it happen)?

A

Win For All. Just is an all encompassing value, and I appreciate the sentiment especially when it comes to managing. It’s not easy to always have a Win for All, but we try to make it possible.

Q

How do you bring Up&Up’s vision to uplift into your role as well as your personal life?

A

Morale is High! Is a saying my father who was a United States Marine for 32 years, he said this each and everyday. So I try to uphold that saying and keep everyone on that level at work, and at home.

Q

How did you get into your current role?

A

I blindly applied on the Up&Up website, being in Higher Education for my career, it seemed on par to oversee marketing on a new level from the agency side of things. I appreciate the CEO, Adam Landrum for creating the Director of Agency Operations for me to join the team.

Q

What gets you most excited about your job?

A

Seeing the team present to clients, and the passion each person has for uplifting education!

Q

What brings you the most joy?

A

Seeing others grow in their roles, I am proud to work with this team every single day.
