Up&Up welcomes Miami University to the client family

With more than 120 bachelor’s and 70 master’s and doctoral majors, along with various minors, co-majors, and 3+1 programs, Miami University has just about every study plan a student can imagine.

If it doesn’t exist, the school will work with each individual to customize their path. With those expansive offerings, a natural and complicated struggle exists—organizing and prioritizing information to meet a student’s unique wants and needs.

Miami University, located in Oxford, Ohio has partnered with Up&Up to create a major and minor exploration tool. The tool will allow students to easily navigate the important decision of deciding what to study during college. It will take a student’s preferences and interests into consideration as the student learns more about what majors suit their goals. Overall, the intuitive and responsive tool will help improve the student’s experience visiting the Miami website.

“When we first learned about this opportunity with Miami, I immediately thought ‘I wish I had a tool like that when I was in school,’” said Bailey Boese, Up&Up UX Designer. “That thought stays with us as we design and develop the tool to ensure it is an effective asset that impacts every user.”
